Greg and Carol Ofori, local parents, started Ratings for Schools, a free website. They got the idea when they moved to Durban during the pandemic and had to find a new school for their kids.

It was hard because there wasn’t much information about schools.

They thought it would be helpful to have a website where parents could compare schools based on things like fees and facilities.

So, Greg got to work on Ratings for Schools. He gathered information about over 2000 schools across the country and put it all on one easy-to-use website. Now, parents can search for schools in their area and find out everything they need to know in one place.
